Five Elements ~ Community of T'ai Chi Players offers a haven for practice, camaraderie and self-exploration. We are located among the "elements" in the scenic Sierra foothills and serve Nevada City, Grass Valley, North San Juan, Camptonville, Auburn and Sacramento. Co-founders and instructors Morgan Halperin and Susan Halperin lead the group in the following classes:

Cheng Man-Ch'ing's Yang-style "short form" solo movements
Yang-style "long form" solo movements
Push Hands, also called Sensing Hands, partner practice
San Shou, two-person martial applications form

We promote t'ai chi ch'uan as an avenue for personal growth, excellent health and longevity, and adhere to a spirit of mutual co-operation and respect. Adults of all ages, backgrounds and abilities are welcome to participate.
